Revolver 03:20
I must have travelled miles To see the sunset in your eyes Its all burnt out The bridge and the pieces My open wounds are open targets They're shining in the sun like my heart is Just a thousand pieces Keeping time I came back to haunt In the silence Burn bright and leave you in the darkness They say revenge is best served cold From a freezing place at the bottom of my soul I'm forever the underdog I took the truth straight to the chest Now it's buried inside my head You were my protection and my personality I couldn't have lived without you This is the most courageous form of cowardice Every night finding refuge in the lonliness In the saloons we drink to our ill health And ride off in the sunset by ourselves I'm forever the underdog I took the truth straight to the chest Now it's buried inside my head

You got me rocking on the waves and Your different ways have Ruined our plans Agree with the truth as it stands It's from the mouth of The family friend man Keep changing faces in the middle of the limelight Of the limelight Keep changing faces in the middle of the limelight Now you're rocking to my waves and Clapping your hands Backflips and handstands Now you're acting like a different man Keep changing faces in the middle of the limelight Of the limelight Keep changing faces in the middle of the limelight

I followed my father into the ocean To see how far out I could go He was up to his waist in half the ocean I was standing on my toes I'll protect you from the waves son And then he raised me to my feet And I don't think even the mountains Could have stood as proud as me I follow in my fathers footsteps So I walked in to the sea And when we both stood eye to eye I know he had made a man of me I'll protect you from the waves Dad My time has come and soon you'll see That maybe one day I can make you as proud as you make me
4.
Settling 01:19
Don't give up on dreams Fruitless mass a wasted seed There he sleeps in the golden leaves God in the surf of an ocean of peace Raise your glass a toast to dreams I'll never be comfortable or settling To never being comfortable or settling
5.
Brother 04:12
Break me down Next to the autumn tree Let it pour down on me Lay me down Next to the autumn leaves Cast me into The sea I'm an island Flash floods and hurricanes Come crashing into me I held you in my hands and hoped for a heartbeat I am lost and outnumbered and I'm calling for signs I am a stone in the ocean and I'm in your hands Ever wonder how the world seemed so dark When you are my star And everything will be alright

There has been many versions and incarnations of this record, these are the first songs that we wrote, recorded and released and it's taken us a lot of goes, but we finally feel like we've finally got it right.

Thank you to the handful of people that have followed this so far, downloading, liking, telling your friends and supporting. We don't do this for credit but we couldn't be more grateful for yours.

Thank you to all of the friends for hanging out, helping out and being some of the best parts of our stories.

Thank you to Darrell's parents for letting us show up unannounced and make loads of noise - especially when it wasn't good noise.
